The Crest

While tracing his ancestry, winemaker and partner, Lanny Kinrade found that the coat of arms for the countries of his Sicilian mother and Isle of Man(Manx) father were both very similar, with the three running legs at the centre. Alexander III, King of Scotland and the Isle of Man, gave his son Prince Phillip, the Crown of Sicily in 1273, which is the only known link to both small islands. Choosing The Manx Crest used with its motto "Wherever you throw me I will stand" and that fierce independence of both countries, it was added it to the label & logo of Hidden Chapel Winery.

The Embossed Label

The embossment is an actual photo of the Chapel. It was a challenge to come up with a label that featured the "Chapel" but still emphasized "Hidden". Once Deborah came up with the concept, Okanagan Label & Print developed the embossment & they print our labels. We are pleased with our interesting rendition of Hidden Chapel Winery through our label.
